AMD’s SB750 is a secret weapon

AMD might be struggling a bit when it comes to the clock speed of its processors at the moment, nor are they great overclockers, but AMD has managed to conjure up some magic in its upcoming SB750 Southbridge which should help them when it comes to overclocking.

We reported about AMD’s upcoming range of Southbridges back in January, but it looks like AMD decided to ditch the SB710 and integrate those features into the SB750, or more precisely the OverDrive 3.0, which we weren’t quite sure what it was all about back then, apart from the fact that it had something to do with overclocking.
